These are the questions that you will be asked during Part I of our Facial Anatomy quiz. If you want to “study up” on facial landmarks and features before taking the exam, you can find a copy of our quiz graphic and the information you need here on our

During the quiz, as each question is displayed, you will be asked to name that part of the face that the arrow in the picture points to. The choices that are given as possible answers include: Midline of the Face, Nasolabial Fold, Labiomental Groove, Labial Commissure, Ala, Philtrum, Lips, Tubercle of the Lip, Vermilion Border, Mental Protuberance, Mandibular Teeth, Maxillary Teeth. You’ll be asked: Name the part of the face that the arrows point to.
Question #1: A line lying off to the side of the mouth, extending from that point where the upper and lower lips join.
Question #2: The fold in the skin that runs from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth.
Question #3: An imaginary line that divides the face into two symmetrical halves.
Question #4: The slight projection of tissue at the center of the upper lip.
Question #5: The teeth held by the lower jawbone.
Question #6: The junction between the lips and the skin of the face.
